When i walk into the kitchen at my parents place, i cant help but get lost in the things 

that hang from the fridge door....

there is layer upon layer upon layer of photos, letter, artworks, invitations

and i cant help but smile and think of my mum....

. reflection time.

some people may find a cluttered fridge rather overwhelming and some might even push the unhygienic 

button... however i find that it shows character and personality.. a busy fridge means a busy person which therefore means someone who leads a busy life which could then go onto to say

a rather passionate about life person..?

if i put an opposite into this reflection time..

A clean crisp white smudge-free fridge...

i think anal, boring, dull and sad.

i was in a shop this afternoon buying some bits and bobs (crap really)

when i overheard the conversation of a little boy and his mum...

LITTLE BOY: " Mum, i want these crayons and when i get them i wanna go home a do a drawing on some paper,

                             and  mum scuse me mum, when its finished i think we should put it on the fridge... the drawing..."

MOTHER :       " That would be lovely, but we cant put it on the fridge, so we'll hang it in your bedroom "

LITTLE BOY : " yeah. "

i remember being little and being so excited to hang my paintings on the fridge... it was like holy shit .. this painting must be good if mum is letting me put it on the fridge...!

i wanted to just buy a crappy fridge for this little boy so he could hang all his beautiful drawings all over the damn thing....

im sorry.

what a anal, boring, dull, sad mother.

let him put his masterpiece on the fridge for the world too see
